Laura is a member of Bucharest Bar and she coordinates the IP and competition practice within Lazarovici and Partners.
During the last 10 years, Laura has gained experience in complex contract negotiation, strategic counseling, legal risk assessment from an international perspective, M & A, regulatory compliance, court litigation. Laura has been part of the IP and competition team of a top tier law firm in Romania for 4 years. Since, she has continuously expanded her IP expertise, focusing on licensing, trademark, copyright, computer and trade secrets law.
Laura mostly advises on competition matters, IT&C, consumer protection, intellectual property litigation, enforcement, clearance and registration. Laura holds LL.M in European Economic Law and Foreign Trade with Europa-Institut in Saarbruecken and in 2018 took part in the International Intellectual Property Transactions Summer Program organized by the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.
She recently took part in the compliance assessment process of the trade secrets directive in Romania undertaken by the European Commission.
Laura is driven by the will to learn as much as she can from as many people and to always challenge her opinions whilst protecting the interests she represents. When she is not walking her dog, Laura enjoys reading psychology and watching movies.
